Remove and blacklist bad actors​

Scammers and impersonators often hit communities on more than one platform. Ban & Flag lets your team remove a user from the Telegram group and flag them for your community, so they're known across your platforms.

How to ban & flag a user​

  1. Find the offending message in the group.

  2. Reply to that message.

  3. In your reply, run:

    /banandflag

  4. The bot guides you through confirming the action.

Reply first

/banandflag acts on the user whose message you replied to. If you run it without replying to a message, the bot won't know who to act on.

Admins only

This command is restricted to group administrators.

What happens​

  • The user is banned from the Telegram group.
  • The user is flagged for your community, so your team has a record of the bad actor shared across Tektools.
