Public Profile
Your public profile is a single page that gathers the accounts you have connected to TekTools — Discord, X / Twitter, Telegram — plus your location, a scheduling link, and any links you want to share. It lives at:
https://tektools.app/u/your-username
Anyone with the link can open it, and nobody needs a TekTools account to view it. It is handy at events: share the link or the QR code and the other person gets every way of reaching you in one place.
The address is not case-sensitive — /u/SharpTheDev and /u/sharpthedev reach
the same profile.
What appears on it

You choose what shows. Everything on the profile has its own switch, and turning one off hides it from visitors without disconnecting the account or deleting the value — turn it back on and it reappears.
Managing your profile
Open My Account on the web dashboard, or the Profile tab in the
TekTools Telegram mini app, and expand Public profile. The counter next to
the title (for example 4/6) tells you how many of your details are currently
visible.
From that panel you can:
- Flip any detail between shown and hidden
- Write a bio
- Choose an NFT as your profile picture
- Pick which badges to show
- Add a scheduling link
- Add, edit, reorder or remove your links
- Copy your profile link, or show its QR code
- See how many people viewed your profile and what they clicked
Changes take effect immediately.
Bio
A short line under your name — what you do, what you're building, where to find you. Up to 160 characters, on a single line. Clear the field and save to remove it.
NFT profile picture
Use an NFT you hold as your profile picture. Choose NFT profile picture in the panel and pick from the NFTs in your verified Solana wallets.
Your profile then shows that NFT with a verified check mark — visitors can see you actually hold it, not just that you're using its image. If you sell or move it, the picture is removed within about a day and your usual avatar comes back.
Only Solana NFTs are supported for now.
Badges
Badges show what you can prove, and they're hidden until you switch them on — nothing appears on your profile unless you choose it.
- Community badges — for each TekTools community whose NFT you hold in a verified wallet. Shown as the community's logo, linking to its page. You don't need to be in the community's Discord; holding the NFT is what counts. Only communities with a public TekTools page have badges. If you sell the NFT, its badge is removed within about a day.
- Event badges — for events where your attendance was verified at the door (for example a check-in scan). Shown with the event name and date. Visiting a booth or saving agenda sessions doesn't earn one.
Open Badges in the Public profile panel to see everything you're eligible for and switch each one on or off.
Scheduling link
If you use a booking tool, paste the link here and visitors get a Book a meeting button on your profile.
Any scheduling service works — Calendly, cal.com, SavvyCal, or anything else that gives you a link. Clear the field to remove the button entirely, or use the switch to hide it while keeping the link saved for later.
Links
You can add up to five links — a portfolio, your project, a GitHub profile, a newsletter, whatever you want people to find.
Each link has:
- A label, which is what visitors see
- A URL, which must start with
https:// - Its own switch, so you can keep a link saved but hidden
Links appear on your profile in the order you set. Use the up and down arrows next to a link to move it, then Save changes.
Under each label your profile shows the site the link actually goes to, so visitors can see where they are about to land before they click.
Your bio, scheduling link, profile links, NFT profile picture, badges and profile stats belong to your Discord-linked TekTools account. If you signed in with Telegram only, connect Discord from the same screen and the options will appear.
Profile stats
The Profile stats section at the top of the Public profile panel shows the last 30 days:
- Views — how many times your profile was opened
- From your QR code — views that came from someone scanning your QR code, so you can see what an event or meetup brought in
- From your QR at an event — the same, broken down by event (see below)
- Scheduling clicks — people who tapped Book a meeting
- Link clicks — in total, and for each of your links
- A small chart of views per day
Stats appear once your profile has had 10 views in the last 30 days.
A few things are left out on purpose, so the numbers mean something:
- Your own visits don't count, as long as you're signed in when you look at your profile.
- Bots and link previews don't count. When your link is posted in Discord, Telegram or X, the preview those apps generate isn't a view.
- Repeated reloads are capped, so one person refreshing can't inflate the count — but a room full of people at an event scanning your QR code on the same wifi all count.
A link keeps its click history when you reorder or rename it. Changing its URL starts it from zero.
QR scans at events
When you open your QR code during a TekTools event you're taking part in — you've saved sessions from its agenda, or visited one of its booths — the QR screen says Scans count towards that event. Every scan while it's showing is credited to the event, and your stats list them, for example From your QR at Breakpoint — 41 views.
An event counts from the day before it starts to the day after it ends, so the evening before and the side events are included. Outside an event, or at one you haven't joined in the app, scans still count as QR views — just not towards an event.
Privacy
- Nothing is added to your public profile without you turning it on.
- Your wallet addresses and email address are never shown.
- Hiding a detail removes it from the page for everyone — the profile is the same for every visitor.
- Profile stats are counts only. TekTools doesn't record who viewed your profile or who clicked what, and counting a view doesn't set a cookie or store anything in the visitor's browser.
