Holder Verification in Telegram
Gate your group to verified holders
When a group is connected, Tektools checks every person who tries to join against your community's requirements before they're let in. Members who don't meet the requirements never get access.
How it works for a member
- The member taps an invite link (see Inviting Members) or tries to join the group.
- The bot checks whether they are authenticated and have a linked wallet that satisfies the group's requirements.
- If they qualify, the bot sends them a single‑use invite link and they join.
- If they don't qualify yet, the bot replies with what's missing and a button to open the Tektools Mini App, where they can sign in and connect a wallet.
One verification, both platforms
Wallets and holder status are shared with your Discord community. A member who has already verified in Discord is recognized in Telegram automatically — they won't be asked to start over.
What the member sees
- Not signed in / no wallet: a message explaining they need to authenticate, with a button that opens the Mini App to connect their wallet.
- Signed in but doesn't hold the required assets: a message listing the requirement they don't meet.
- Verified: a personal, single‑use link to enter the group.
Single‑use links
Invite links handed out after verification are tied to that member and expire after use, so they can't be shared to let unverified users slip in.
What admins should know
- Requirements (which token or collection a member must hold) come from your community configuration — the same holder rules that power your Discord roles.
- Because checks run on join, you don't need to manually screen members.
- Pair this with Ban & Flag to remove and blacklist anyone who shouldn't be there.
Troubleshooting
